[All in One SEO plugin] Blog Posts not showing up in searches (3 posts)

    I posted this question previously, but I have been unable to get an answer there so I'm hoping a word press expert can help me out. I am not a programmer (I run a small non-profit organization) so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a website with pages (main website content) and posts (blog). http://www.altnyc.org

    All is set up and working well, except search engines are not picking up new posts as posts. On previous simple blogs I have had in the past, a new post would be picked up by google immediately, and this was with free themes and no advanced SEO – so I feel like I've done something to screw this up! I am using the All in one SEO plug-in, and also tried to get help on that plug-in's forum - but that forum seems to be un-monitored!

    Here are some of the key settings I have right now:

    Under Privacy Settings, 'I would like my site to be viable to everyone…' is checked.

    I have installed enabled All in one SEO, and entered in specific home title, home description and home keywords.

    Canonical URLs and Rewrite Titles are both checked off.
    Post Title format is: %post_title% | %blog_title%
    Page Title format is: %page_title% | %blog_title%
    Category Title format is: %category_title% | %blog_title%
    Archive Title format is: %date% | %blog_title%
    Tag Title format is: %tag% | %blog_title%
    Search Title format is: %search% | %blog_title%
    Description format is: %description%
    Use categories for META keywords is checked
    Use tags for META keywords is not checked (as I don't currently use tags on the blog)
    Use noindex for categories is NOT checked
    Use nonindex for archives is checked
    No pages are excluded

    ON BLOG POSTS: The All in One SEO pack information shows at the bottom of each screen, and I've filled in appropriate titles, descriptions and keywords – all that I assume should assist with SEO.

    Am I missing something? Is there something specific about the theme that could be interfering with the search engines' ability to pick up new blog posts as posts? (I can look at the source code on the website, but unfortunately, it is all greek to me - the theme's support insist it has nothing to do with the theme.) I'm inclined to think it's my error and not the software, and the theme's support, which is quite good, assures me it is not theme related - though I can't be sure.

    The most recent post I made was on June 30, 2010. The content is fairly specialized (about recent new operas that have premiered in the US) When I do a blog search on google with the search term "golden ticket opera" (which is incredibly specifc to that post), the post does not show up at all in the search. Even when I do a blog search by the title of the post it does not show up.

    Strangely, the same thing happens for the second most recent post I made (on June 10th), BUT when I do a general web search of the title of that post title in quotes ( "Leading up to the premiere"), it is the first thing that comes up. So obviously it was indexed by google, but it doesn't recognize it as a blog post. HOW do I fix that??

    I want to make sure that as I blog more in the future, those posts are indexed in a timely fashion as blog posts. On past WP blogs I've had, the posts showed up in search engines almost immediately. Now they're not showing up at all - or not as blog posts.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a similar problem and can't find an answer! I have all in one and it is active and running! When I look at the source code for my main page I can see there are meta keywords and meta descriptions! When I look at any post other than the static front page, there are no meta keywords or meta descriptions! If I take my url for a post and remove the "/category/" manually from the url or domain I can then look at source and see the keywords and descriptions! Everything seems to be set fine, except for that! http://alarmmyspace.com/category/15-home-security-tips/ looking at this url's source code I see no meta keywords or description! If I remove the middle "/category/" they will show up in the source! How do I get rid of the "/category/" or get the meta data to show up in the code!

    <!-- /all in one seo pack -->

    This is what shows up in the code under all in one seo pack!

    If I remove "/category/" I get... it to work!

    <meta name="description" content="Here are the best tips I can give you for securing your home and keeping an intruder out! Applying these home security tips will greatly increase your homes defenses!" />
    <meta name="keywords" content="home security tips, anti intruder tips, tips for home security, home security,home security,15 home security tips!" />
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://alarmmyspace.com/15-home-security-tips/" />
    <!-- /all in one seo pack -->

    Where can I remove this setting, so this will work automatically!
