All images are gone from entire site (5 posts)

I wrote in earlier to say that I've nothing in the past few days on admin, so I'm not sure what has changed things. Looks like there are no icons on the buttons in the post section, and ALL of my images are gone--site-wide. I can see the list of them in my media folder, but I can't see the actual photos/images themselves. I've tried deactivating the plug-ins, going back to the original theme (and tried other themes too), and nothing works. The images are just gone. I'm at http://deardaughters.com.

    Thanks!

Your images display for me. You may have accidentally disabled image display in your web browser or have corrupted web browser cache (try clearing it).

Was just looking at this as well. Most of your images display fine for me too.

The only one I could see that was broken was on this page:
    http://deardaughters.com/2009/10/14/the-best-site-ever-right-brother-cooter/

There might be some relative link there that needs adjusting maybe.

    ie
    http://deardaughters.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/YearbookYourself_1988-josh.jpg
    instead of:
    http://deardaughters.com/2009/10/14/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/YearbookYourself_1988-josh.jpg

Check your Admin > Settings > Miscellaneous page just in case.

Not sure how to explain the images in the admin side of things going AWOL other that what iridiax said above. Might be worth re-uploading your wp-admin and wp-includes folders if you're still having that problem after that.

Thanks for your posts. I tried clearing out my cache and also checking to make sure I hadn't changed any display options, but that just didn't work. Any other ideas? My husband said that the website was showing fine on his work computer, so I'm guessing it's something local.

    Thanks in advance!

Try a different browser and see if that works. I use Firefox, and images can be blocked totally, blocked on a site by site basis, or blocked by add-ons. Other browsers vary.
