All FLV plugins make Pages with .flv media disappear (1 post)

I am attempting to upload my own .flv video onto a page. I want the video to play in a media player. I have downloaded every FLV-compatible plugin available for WordPress, and after they are each installed and set up, etc., when I go to edit my page with the .flv file, it cannot load. The WYSIWYG editor will not load, and I get a completely blank page. I am using the most current version of Safari on a Mac, but have also experienced this white page on Opera. When I deactivate the .flv media player plugin, and trash the associate files, I can see and edit the page again. What the heck is going on? I am sure it is possible to embed a media player onto a page, as I have read that lots of people have done it. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone please assist me. Thanks!
