I'm moving hosts - exported using 2.1.2 and importing right back into 2.1.2. All my posts were marked uncategorized after the import. Any insights would be appreciated.

Wow, the problems weren't limited to the categories... none of my users were pulled in, all my sub-pages weren't showing in the page list, the categories were not synched with the posts. I had to manually export th rows right out of the database using phpMyAdmin and then insert them using the same tool. Unless I missed some key piece of what seemed like a no-brainer export/import, I'd say that function isn't fully baked yet.
