I've been using cformsII v8.6 without problems on my test site. I've now created another WPMU and uploaded the same into /plugins/ folder but get this error:
All cforms data has been erased!
Please go to your Plugins tab and either disable the plugin, or toggle its status (disable/enable) to revive cforms!
I've tried the recommended solution but didn't work. Why did this happen? HOw to fix? Help pls..tq!
update: I've deleted the v8.6 and uploaded v8.7 but still get the same problem. I'm now back to the non-working v8.6 so that it's the same version as the v8.6 that's working on my test site =(
p/s: am using Plugin Commander to manage my plugins.

Try clicking the activate link itself (not the check box) - I read in the forum that it's an issue that WP2.6 causes with its new multi plugin activation feature.
I guess it'll be fixed in the next cforms release...

This suggestion solved my problem immediately. Definitely something up with this plug in or how WP handles it.
Thanks,
Steve

Yup !!!
Me too faced the exact same problem...
And the solution you told worked perfectly !!!
I am using 2.5 and trying to use cforms 8.7
nope, didn't work for me. Am using plugin commander to manage all my plugins on WPMU. So there's no checkbox. I've the same setup on another site which works perfectly, so I don't know what's the problem..sigh
