I have a Category widget on my blog, and it is only showing one category. I created three categories. I have one article in two of the three catecgories.

Why aren't all my categories being displayed on the Category Widget?

Not excluding any categories with that Widget are you?

What other settings do you have configured with the widget?

Should also confirm that it is a widget and not the template tag, wp_list_categories(), in your theme's sidebar.php that is displaying those categories.

And finally, guess you could have some plugin that could be causing a problem.

We're having the same problem. We are migrating from one server to another and when we replaced the wp_term_taxonomy table to match the old server's set up (2.7 to 2.7.1 for versioning) all but 2 of our categories disappeared from the category view. However, they are all present when looking at the posts. We're not using the widget on the front page, but it's weird that we have lost the view of the categories in the dashboard.

trdunsworth - your problem may be related to your server move, likely making it a different problem than bgatto's. Recommend you start another topic, please.
