all but homepage as singlecol (blix) (6 posts)

    I'm using blix for a new site, and the header has the following code which makes some pages "singlecol" and other pages double (allowing for the sidebar). Since I am only using the sidebar on the home (index.php) page, I want everything else to be "singlecol." Does anyone know how I can modify this code correctly? I made a few stabs at it myself, but I either got error messages, or nothing happened... (I'm not very good at this!)

    <div id="container"<?php if (is_page() && !is_page("archives")) echo " class=\"singlecol\""; ?>>

    Note: I tried this

    But it didn't work. (I changed "gallery" to "pages" which is the prefix for all my archives - but it still didn't work...)

    Try this:

    <div id="container"<?php if (!is_home()) echo " class=\"singlecol\""; ?>>

    Ok I 'm using blix and I don't want any pages to be single col and I removed this line of code "<?php if (!is_home()) echo " class=\"singlecol\""; ?>" and it makes the pages a non single colum but my subnav or side menu is not there.

    Ok after viewing my source (http://www.jpconcepts.net/wp/about) I see that the subcontent divs are there but it's blank in between. Whats up with that?
