[resolved] alignment & shortcode (7 posts)

Had slideshow align left so text showed to right, but something changed and text is now showing below. Can't figure out what changed. Have now tried adding shortcode, but when saved, part is cut off so align info doesn't stay. This is all that is saved in widget area:
    [meteor_slideshow metadata=

    Please advise. Thanks so much

Ah, that is because you are using the widget. For the widget you only need to add the metadata itself to the field, not the other info that is wrapped around it in the shortcode:

    align: 'left'

It looks like you got it working though!

Thanks Josh. I tried floating the text right. Not sure all browsers will be happy with that though.

That should work fine, the align options for Meteor Slides are for when the other elements you want to float are right next the slideshow. Like a slideshow and then some text. That might not work with the widget where there is extra markup between the slideshow and the other text, they way you did it is probably a better option.

Sorry. I'm back. I just realized the mobile responsiveness of the slideshow has been lost. It was working beautifully and now does not resize. And the copy floating to the right of the slideshow in some browsers drops down or gets cut off. Where might I look to trouble shoot this. Thanks so much. http://www.unityphx.org
