Alignment Annoyance (5 posts)

My theme looks fine on the main page, but on a page where the comments are shorter than the sidebar, the bottom part overlaps into part of the sidebar but into part of the body as well, and it also moves over the width of the sidebar.

    Main page: http://allirense.com/theme
    Bad page: http://www.allirense.com/blog/?p=84#respond

Firstly, I was planning on validating the page after I got everything working properly.

Secondly, most of the errors are from the flickr badge. They have nothing to do with my problem. I did fix one error I thought could be a culprit, but the problem still exists.

    1. Nobody is going to take a look at it while you have so many errors. Validating is NOT the last thing - it should be done BEFORE asking for help.
    2. Unclosed divs are very often the cause.
(check the Show source box and click Revalidate > all the line #s will become a link)

Okay, it is valid. But now, not only is the alignment problem still an issue, but the white background does not extend all the way to the bottom of the page.
