Aligning pictures on a page (8 posts)

So I am trying to align pictures next to each other on a static page. I can't drag and drop in the visual editor (not sure why this is) and I can't get them next to each other. I do not know how to use any HTML code or CSS style stuff, as I have been trying this for about 5 days now. I align the pictures with the alignment tool in the edit properities of the pictures area, but this does not put them where I want them. The sizing is also not suspect as they are small enough to fit. Any thoughts? Thanks

I align the pictures with the alignment tool

How exactly? It might help if we could see a publically accessible page with the images on it.

I use the left and right alignment buttons in the edit image box.

I can't see anything wrong with the aligned left and aligned right images. Am I missing something?

Yes, I am trying to get them NEXT to each other. They should fit, as the page is wide enough. Any thoughts

And to clarify more, I am trying to get the bottom two next to each other.

Try apply a left align on each image that you want to fit side-by-side.
