album/gallery installation?

    I’m totally new to WP so I’m a little lost on adding an album/gallery. I was looking at Gallery 1.5 but I’m not sure how to go about installing it. It says I should also install ImageMagik but I’m a little confused there, too. Am I trying too hard or is really beyond the capabilities of my little brain?

    So far I’ve downloaded and extracted the .zip files for both programs and uploaded them to my webspace via FTP. Now what (or was that wrong)?

    have you read the instructions? I found gallery has some of the clearest steps on installing it. Failing that, you can request your host install it for you if you find it intimidating.

    Now assuming you want support for Gallery, perhaps you shoudl contact the Gallery forums first and foremost, when you want to integrate with WP come back and ask for help related to that.

    You might want to go to the forums for gallery since you are more likely to get help their since that is their baby. WordPress and Gallery are different programs made by different people. =)
