   I'm trying to run my blog like a online "Zine" instead of your journal format. I'd like to have stuff like "album of the week" and "this week in fashion review" show up as something other than the main headlines... something in the sidebar like a sticky.

   Imagine -- a left column for the main headlines and stuff and a right column containing regular features (like album of the week and the most recent coffee shop review and word of the moment that I wrote about)

   Is there a good convention for doing this or a plugin for this? I can't find one.

   Not certain, but if there is a plugin I'd like to check it out too :)

   You could create a box in your sidebar which states Album of the Week - a bit like your About box. I don't know if there is sucha plugin though
