Album Thumbnail Issues after update

I just updated to v2 of NextGen Gallery, and now all new albums won’t show thumbnail images. The HTML shows that it’s trying to get the image from /nextgen-image/ directory which doesn’t exist, and I can’t find anywhere in the settings to change this! Via FTP I can see that all my galleries are in the default location and have child “thumbs” directories with valid thumbnails in them, but I can’t get the plugin to use them. I’ve seen people talk about editing the code for a work-around (which I can do) but I don’t want to have to keep doing these changes every time the plugin gets updated.

Also, there doesn’t seem to be any easy way to search the support forums here within a specific plugin – you have to search the whole forum. This is crazy, and it usually turns up results from 4 years ago which is a totally different version. It’d be so much easier if you could create sub-forums here on WP.org (likely a big change), but otherwise start your own forum and have a specific place to talk about all these new issues with v2 so that we can easily search and find answers – here I’m sure you’re getting the same questions over and over and over…. Just my 2 cents.
