• For some reason, I have this handful of frequent commenters who cannot seem to ever get past my Akismet spam filter. It’s been going on forever. I am constantly having to rescue their comments from the filter.

    I’ve gone through by black list and can find nothing that is triggering the filter.

    Akismet is supposed to learn from its mistakes.

    That’s not happening here.

    Can someone, anyone, recommend a substitute that works as well in keeping spam out, but won’t have this problem with false positives?

    Bumping this up. Should I use Hashcash? Or Bad Behavior. The intent is to replace Akismet, which send too many good comments to the spam filter. What I would like is a way to tell Akismet that comments from specific email addresses must always be allowed through.
