Akismet Spam update?

    The Akismet Spam filter is not doing as adequate a job of filtering spam as it used to. Within the last few days, it’s been letting comments through that are clearly, quite obviously spam. And then WordPress sends me an email asking me to moderate these comments, and the comments that are being let through are almost exactly like the ones it usually catches. Is there an update for Akismet I can download, or a fix for this?

    Same here and not only that, when I click on the Askismet tab under “Manage,” it throws out a blank page. I’ve tried deleting it and uploading fresh files but this isn’t working either.

    I am unashamedly thread-hijacking here, but I am unable to post a new topic. I’ve tried twice with two different usernames, but after I post, it looks like it works and is assigned a topic id (111415), but when I click on rss feed or edit, it gives me an error. The post is also not listed in my profile.

    I apologize for replying to this thread with this problem, but I can’t even start a new topic to ask about it. Any suggestions, please email ken DOT litscher AT gmail DOT com to avoid taking over this topic completely. Thanks, and sorry again.

    i think they mentioned on there blogs that they are having some problem and that a new cluster will be implemented soon .
