RoyYesterday I noticed that Akismet has some problems. My dashboard gives me the notification: "Akismet has detected a problem. A server or network problem is preventing Akismet from working correctly." The first two of the four servers give "obstructed", the other two "no problems". When I recheck the API-key I get a notification that it cannot be validated due to a connection problem.
So, I figured that my host has been working on their firewall, or perhaps it was just because of maintenance. (The WP feeds in the dashboard work just fine btw.)
Today I logged in again, got no error and thought the problem just went away, but when I went to a subsite, I got the same error! In fact, on all subsites, I get the same errors, but the main site is just fine, even when I recheck network status.
Before I talk to my host, isn't it strange that the main site would be fine and the subsites not?
