   Hello,
   We use WordPress v.2.8.4 + Akismet v.2.2.6
   And the plugin stopped working in February. I saw in wordpress website that
   wp 2.8.4 is available for download.Is this version supported now?. Please help!

   Why aren't you using WordPress 3.2.1?

   We have changed code of wordpress, therefore I would be grateful for advices not sujjesting upgrading of WordPress
   It just stopped catching spam - there is no any error messages, in admin panel everything seems fine.

   Of course that's always a good practice - to always update a software to the latest version. We're working in a mobile apps company and suggest our users to do the same. But over the years our WordPress was customized in many ways to meet our website needs, so we can't just simply update it to 3.2.1, because many things will go break. We consider updating WordPress with the major update of our site, but until then we would prefer some backwards compatibility solution, maybe some older version of Akismet or andy other good spam filter plugin to integrate easily in old 2.8.4 version.

   The latest version of Akismet may not work with WP 2.8.4 ( or any other recently updated plugin, for that matter). I can only suggest that you start testing some of the older versions of Akismet.
