Akismet Filtering Reduced by Static Pages?

    Arf! Arf! Howdy,

    Within the past week, I created a Static Home Page and redirected my blog posts to a “Posts” navigational menu tab. After I did that, I’ve noticed an increase in SPAM. Does anybody know why that would occur?
