Hi Guys!
Yesterday I updated Akismet plugin from version 2.0.3 to 2.1 (I'm not sure about version 2.0.3).
So what I did was desactivate the plugin, and delete the file, then I upload the new plugin, when I went back to activate it I see this error message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /path/my-blog/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 284
Can somebody please tell me what to do in order to fix this? I really need to fix this since my blog is receving a lot of spam.
