   I have just updated to the latest akismet, however the issue has been ongoing for some time. There are just two commenters who always end up in the moderation/spam queue even though I have even gone so far as to give them userIDs and passwords: their comments still end up as "spam" and its getting really annoying, for them and for me. Any suggestions, anyone? Apart from deactivating akismet I mean.

   Tell them to contact Akismet and get out of the blacklist.

   Thanks, I've made the contact on their behalf. Of concern though, is that I thought Akismet was supposed to learn when you despam comments, but its not working for these two.

   Well, subsequent to that I have actually switchd to the typepad antispam which is based on the Akismet code, and its working well and my friends can post comments. Its all good.

   I have the same problem with Akismet right now. I love how well it works, but this guy is my best friend, and is an IT Professional, so I know he's not running a spambot on his machine.

   I just hope it's not as hard to get off Akismet's blacklist as it is to get off SORBS.
