   I recently upgraded a WordPress blog from v1.7 to v2.3 and reinstalled all the plug-ins, APIs, etc.

   Everything seemed to have gone well except for Akismet which doesn't seem to be catching any more spam (the number is not rising although there aren't any more bogus comments either), there are no notification emails and if I try to delete the 225 comments "currently identified as spam" I get redirected to the page "/wp-admin/?page=akismet-admin&noheader=true" and am told "The page cannot be displayed".

   I've pored my way through akismet.php, but I can't see anything obvious.

   I'd be grateful if anyone has any better ideas.

   Second that, I have the same problem.

   Found the solution yet?

   Uninstall Akismet and try something else, Spambam for instance.

   Seems to work so far; no deluge of slimy pink stuff (spam, that is)
