Since I had updated Akismet to 2.5.3, it's throwing many valid comments and all internal pingbacks from the own blog into the spam folder. Almost everyday I find valid comments and internal pingbacks in there! That wasn't happening before that update.
Here's a complaint, a bug report, and I hope Akismet creators fix that. It's seeming i'm disrespecting my good readers by spammifying their comments!

Please send details using - http://akismet.com/contact/ - it is possible that your site is now sending poor data in the comment check API calls, which would result in reduced accuracy.

Sorry for the delay on replying.
What kind of details do I have to send about the huge number of false positives?

A specific comment would be helpful.
Also, have you checked the history for the comment to make sure it was Akismet that marked it as spam?
