• If I turn on the AJAX module, it seems very inconsistent from a user perspective. If a user is not logged in, they will see Register in the menu. That will open as a modal form. I also use a sidebar widget for theme my login, so if they follow that register link it is not modal. The same would be true for anywhere a shortcode is used – register would never be modal. So I am looking for suggestions on how to be consistent. It would be nice to use ajax in the sense of not having a page refresh when someone logs in.

    Thanks.

I believe the “modal” AJAX module will be removed in the next major release. I’m not so sure I can package out-of-the-box an AJAX solutions that is ideal for all use-case scenarios.
