   I installed the updater plugin however when I go to update akismet I get the error

   Unexpected error occured while performing an AJAX request

   I'm using php5/WP 2.3.3 and I have CHMOD the folders needed.

   ozerus,
   Do you have my Flickr Manager plugin installed as well, because there's a known issue with versions < 1.4.5.

   If so, deactivate it and then update it and it should work fine.

   none yet Bollywood, I'm hoping that eventually I'll try it again and it will work. (But that will be months away!)
