Ajax Comments slowdown

    I installed this plugin (Ajax Comments) on my site a few days ago. I immediately noticed that my site was taking longer (10 to 15 seconds) to load, so I removed the plugin and deleted it from my server. However, the effect remains. My site is still very slow loading. Prior to installing Ajax Comments, it would pop up almost immediately.

    Does anybody know why this happening and what I can do to fix it? My site is here. I’m running on WP 2.04.

    Viewing the source, it looks like you are loading several javascripts twice. I suspect that might be an issue… Take a look at those, see if you can track back to a plugin?

    Thanks, Yosemite! You know, I’ve been staring at this thing for three days and never saw that. It seems that the inline-ajax-comments plugin was being called twice… once by my theme and again by the plugins. I disabled it in the plugins, and all appears to be well again.

    It sure helps to have an extra set of eyes around. Thanks again!
