    Hi.

    I know, here are some post for this problem, but I couldn’t apply.

    I am using the actual Version of WP and the Version 5.5.2 of the event manager and
    couldn’t use the ajax functionality at the search form.

    I have set the wp-config to:
    define(‘EM_AJAX_SEARCH’, true);
    and tried
    define(‘EM_AJAX’,true);

    (I found both explanation)

    On the search-form webpage I tried the codes:

    [location_search_form]
    and
    CONTENTS

    With nearly the same result.
    (Location_search forms seems to fit better)

    Although I had set the Settings “Geolocation” of the search-form to “yes”
    but no search-form appears.

    Have I forgot anything?
    Are there further suggestions?

  • Hi,

    Can you post a link? I think that will make it easier to see what’s wrong. Thanks.

    Hi.
    Sorry, Here is the url

    I think having two search forms on one page is causing a problem. Does AJAX start working if you remove one of the search boxes?

    Thanks.
    No, unfortunately not.

    I have removed one search form.
    No other result.

    Any other Ideas?

    just to narrow down the problem have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Thanks Angelo,

    you are right.
    I have installed the same plugins and themes on another server.
    When I switch to another theme, everything seems to be all right.

    Is there a way to find out, where and why these function don’t work with these theme?

    [Moderator Note: No bumping, thank you.]
