    Hey everyone!

Scott here and I'm a bit above my head right now. I've installed WordPress on a Mac G4/450 PHP Version 4.4.2, MySQL 5.0.19, and Apache 2.0.55. So far everything is running great... but only when view/manage the blog *from the machine* (http://localhost:8888/wordpress/). But when Ii set the machine with a static ip and try and view from another machine (http://10.0.2.134:8888/wordpress/, I can see the content but the formatting is gone (it's just text) and no images are being displayed. Please please please if anyone has any ideas I'll be much appreciated.

    Scott

    localhost is your problem.

Every machine thinks HE is localhost. So when you specify localhost as your blog url... well, that's used for stylesheets and images in the rendered code.

Switch the name to a proper DNS name or IP address (Options -> General)
