Aged Domain & Subpages – losing PR when viewing url

    Hi all,
    I bought an ‘aged’ domain that has a couple of subpages with PageRank and so I added some content to these pages within WP in the hope I could maintain the PR.

    When I view the site, the url has changed and therefore the PR is ‘unranked’
    As an example the domain I bought is;

    http://www.mynewdomain.com

    The subpage is /withpagerank.html

    So it should read; http://www.mynewdomain.com/withpagerank.html

    But, when viewing the site, it reads;

    http://www.mynewdomain.com/withpagerank-html (with no PR!)

    I understand that this is something to do with WP and maybe Postscript but I am so confused!

    I have also been told that I should maybe create a ‘flat HTML’ page and link to it but this is probably out of my skill set at the moment…

    Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there a solution to it?!
