[resolved] After WPEC upgrade emails are not being sent to customer or admin (5 posts)

    Hi, after upgrading to WPEC 3.8.13, when a customer makes a purchase using DPS PxPay Gateway for WP-e-Commerce no emails are being sent to customer or admin after purchase. Everything was working previously with no change to Theme, plugins etc. Causing real problems as customers not sure if they have purchased or not. Can anyone help please?

    Hello. Please try upgrading to 3.8.13.1 and let us know if that fixes the problem.

    My questions back would be...
    Is WordPress sending out any emails correctly?
    Are you trying to send admin receipts to more than one admin? Because that was a known issue in 3.8.12 that I think we resolved in 3.8.13.1

    Otherwise its definitely coming soon... as soon as 3.8.14 hits the streets.

    Hi Dan, thank you for your reply. Upgrading to 3.8.13 does not fix the problem. WordPress is sending out emails correctly as emails are being received when using a test payment gateway but not with DPS PXPay gateway integrated for WP e-Commerce. Admin is also only being sent to one admin.

    I have read that there were changes made in a previous version of wpec that sends out the notification emails and it got moved and so the payment gateway may need need modifying to use the new WPSC_Purchase_Log class? Is this a possibility?

    It is the first thing I would check. Where did you get the gateway code from? If you want to send me a copy I can check (free of charge) if it looks like it needs modifying or not. Contact via whitelamp dot com.

    I'm having the same problem with my custom coded payment gateway.

    I'm on the latest WP and WPEC 3.8.13.3

    Emails from WordPress work correctly (sending the tracking number email and manually resending the receipt both work properly).

    @Dan Milward can you please tell me what I have to do in order to fix this major issue as soon as possible.
