why the plugin make the posts disappear?

Hello, I wanted to create a homepage, where snippets of posts would appear. I installed the plugin and it really showed feeds of posts, but when I click on the buttom “view more” – I can see that the rest of the post disappeared 🙁 Not only on the website, but also in my kokpit, there are just “snippets” of posts.. I “rescued” them with auto saved version. What was wrong? Does this plugin work only with feeds from another websites? Why it distroy my posts?

Sorry If my question sound trivial, but I’m newby on WP.

And the second question – is it necessary to use loop to make a homepage with snippets from the blog or is there a simpler way?
