   The "edit post" screen now ends after "suggested tags." There is no button to publish, or a way to save a draft. They are all gone. I can post comments to old entries, but not post anything new. I have reinstalled twice.

   I believe it is probably a tagging plug-in causing this problem. De-activate all plug-ins having to do with tags/tagging and see if that fixes the problem.

   Then it's just a matter of waiting for the people who publish that plug-in to release a fix.

   Tried that. Logged out, logged back in. Now the "edit posts" screen ends right after the "discussion" and "author" subheadings.

   Reinstalled again. No change.

   I've been having the same problem - I tried deactivating all my plugins with no result.

   Then, because I have the post screen set to 1 column, I thought, why not, and changed it to two... and there were the Categories, Tags, and Post sections. Bizarre! I've now moved them back over, reactivated all plugins including Simple Tags and everything's fine.
