[resolved] After upgrade to 1.2 Simple Sidebar Problem (7 posts)

    Hello,

I was successfully using this plug-in version 1.1.3.4 with Genesis Simple Sidebars version 1.0.0. When adding terms to my taxonomies and then editing them, I had previously been given the option to update both sidebars and secondary navigation. After updating, the option to add the custom sidebar is gone, but the secondary navigation option is still there. My system still works - what I had previously entered still links. And after I added a new term and saved it, it seems to use the custom sidebar used by my other terms in the same taxonomy.

Is this a fix for you, or for Genesis Simple Sidebars? Writing that author, too.

I have forwarded the issue to the developers, you can expect a new release soon fixing this.

When I edit a term of a custom taxonomy, the option "Sidebar Options" is missing. It used to follow the term "Description" field and go before the "Secondary Navigation" area. In this example I have custom taxonomy "publication-type" and term "featured publication".

I reverted to the old version (1.1.3.4). This is a screenshot of where the "Sidebar Options" feature shows up.

    Thank you!

We reviewed Types initialization code. With new update (released very soon) your issue should be fixed. After we release it: can you confirm that functionality is back? Thanks.
