[resolved] After upgrade, first post repeats multiple times? (10 posts)

I just upgraded to 2.1, everything worked well. However the first post displayed repeats numerous times. It is not displayed as multiple copies in the admin/manage posts page, but does show up on the main blog.

    Blog is http://www.sunstoneblog.com

I've searched for repeating posts, but haven't found anything yet in this forum.

    Thoughts?

Um, update. It's not just the first post, many of them are repeating.

All your posts seem to be doubled... Do you have some customized Loop in your theme?

Not that I am aware of, the theme didn't change with the upgrade to 2.1, I didn't touch the wp-content folder.

I've deactivated most plugins. I only have the Akismet and a Sideblog plugin active now.

Akismet is OK, that does NOT interfere with the posts. However, the Sideblog plugin might. Try to deactivate and see what happens.

Hmm, that did it. Thank you for the help!

I'll have to find another sideblog plugin, or upgrade it.

    Read this, maybe it's related:

    Eventually, inform the plugin author.

rtswen, can you tell what plugin/version you were using so I can avoid it? :)

    SideBlog v 3.5

I'll try 3.6 before reporting a problem to the author.

Just installed 3.6, activated it and replaced the code in my Sidebar.php.

    Works great.
