After update to 3.9.2, Lost Categories and tags

    I updated yesterday my site from 3.9.1 and today I realize that I lost all the categories and tags in posts.

    When I enter in categories in Post’s menu, I see that there are X categories but they aren’t showed. However in Tags page, I can view all he tags.

    Is there any solution? Or Must I reinstall backups?

    Your categories are showing in the admin, but not on the website when previewed?

    No, categorías are not showing in admin but they are on the website, and I can’t select any categories when I try to publish a new post

    Can you try disabling all your plugins and changing your theme to a wordpress default theme like 2014 or 2013?

    Thanks Janet,

    I found what the problem was, it was not related to WordPress or update to 3.9.2. My server modified the permissions of /tmp folder, they quit write permissions. Everything is right now.
