After server move-most attached images in phpBB forum are good, some corrupted

I recently moved from one server at Godaddy to another that is supposed to be better for a wp powered site. I’m only marginally computer-literate so I had help from a friend who knows more, but who had not done web development, and was not familiar with wp. The move went well overall, but in my phpBB forum most images uploaded to the forum are working, but a handful are corrupted. As far as I know all the attached images were fine before the move.

I’m asking for some direction here because of my aforementioned lack of knowledge. The person who is helping me is doing so as a favor so I can’t really complain about the result. I’m sure he would help fix the issue if he could figure it out, so I’m asking for advice that I can forward to him. My site makes almost no profit and I maintain it because I enjoy sharing my hobby. That’s why I don’t have a professional website developer.

The first image in the sample thread is corrupted and is one that I originally uploaded. I attached the same image again today, just beneath it, and it worked fine. The code for both attachments are identical.

I’m using the Suffusion theme for the site, but the only issues I’m aware of are with the phpBB forum.

You could try downloading all your images again from your old host and re-uploading to the new host.

Your new host may also be able to do that for you.
