i just moved a site from my server to my clients new server with the same hosting (a small orange).
i moved the files and imported the database. when i try to access the site, i get this: could not connect to 96.18.98.172
i can however access the admin pages just fine.
the client put in a support request with a small orange, and they said it's a domain issue, and that is not one of their ip's.
this doesn't make sense to me since it is the same hosting company, and the admin pages work.
anyone have any ideas?

i forgot one thing- i tried a brand new fresh install of wp with a brand new database, and the exact same thing happened.
Did you change the DNS of domain name to point to host server.

it's the same as it was before.
here's what the tech said:
"It looks like your site is referencing 96.18.98.172 from looking at
the .htaccess. I changed it to a default and it still tried to
reference that IP which leads me to believe there are database changes
that need to be made."
did you change the urls in settings general to new domain name and reset your permalinks.

As host said the IP address is wrong then looks like DNS settings are not set right
