[resolved] After migration lost vertical lines between columns (4 posts)

    Hello,

    I just migrated from WP-Table Reloaded to TablePress and the migration worked great! The only issue I see is that I appear to have lost the vertical lines that separate each column. Can you please advise how to get them back?

    Here is an example: http://lightweight-sleeping-bags.com/temperature-ratings-for-sleeping-bags/

    Thanks, Bryan

    Hi Bryan,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The reason for that is that TablePress has a fresher and more modern default styling for tables, which does not include such vertical borders.

    To get those back, please add this to the "Custom CSS" text area on the "Plugin Options" screen of TablePress:

    .tablepress th,
    .tablepress td {
        border: 1px solid #dddddd;
    }
    .tablepress tbody td {
        padding: 8px;
    }

    The first command in that code will restore the border, while the second command will fix the inner cell spacing, which had been changed by your theme, but looks ugly with the borders.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    sure, no problem! You are very welcome!
    Good to see that this helped!

    Best wishes,

    P.S.: In case you haven't, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
