• Hi Sutherland, we’ve used VT-Pro on our site for over a month with no problems.

Now in the sidebar box on New Post we consistantly get:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exkl-qDnhDg

No video thumbnail for this post.

We did all the troubleshooting steps including selectively disabling other plugins and I read every support post. Our host is GoDaddy and they have curl enabled.

    System Parameters:

    WordPress Version 3.9.2
    Video Thumbnails Version 2.10.2
    Video Thumbnails Settings Version 2.10.2
    PHP Version 5.5.15
Post Thumbnails ✔ Your theme supports post thumbnails.
Video Providers 19: YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Vine, Blip, Dailymotion, Metacafe, VK, Funny or Die, MPORA, Wistia, Youku, Tudou, CollegeHumor, Rutube, SAPO, TED, Twitch, Google Drive

    Troubleshooting Data:

This test checks for issues with the process of saving a remote thumbnail to your local media library. (WORKS).

Copy and paste an embed code below to see if a video is detected. (✖ No thumbnail found) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exkl-qDnhDg (this link worked with VT last week).

This test automatically searches a sample for every type of video supported and compares it to the expected value. Sometimes tests may fail due to API rate limits. (All videos show, up to “Wistia” then test jams and just keeps waiting with a fogged Wistia screen. All videos marked ✗ Failed).

I really hate to ask for help, but your plugin is imperative for our CMS and it’s the only one I’ve ever paid for the PRO-Version because it’s worth it. Thank you for your untold thousands of hours coding for us!

    ~ Chikako 🙂

I’ve solved the operational problems, by putting in a custom field (a text-only plugin was causing conflicts) – so my site is “go” again. But I’m still throwing errors on the Debugging page, so we’ll need to get that sorted.
