   Hello,

   I just finished installing WordPress 2.7 and I received a confirmation screen listing my login (admin) along with an auto-random generated password.

   Everything seems fine and I can even go the main blog page. However, whenever I try to login, it takes me to a blank screen with no messages or errors. I simply get a blank browser and refreshing does nothing.

   Please help~!

   Plugin issue. See how to fix here. FYI- I'm updating WP today, so it may be up and down...

   Since it is a new install, and you likely have no plugins causing the problem, then you probably did not get a complete and intact set of WordPress files uploaded.

   I'd consider downloading a fresh copy of WordPress from the Download tab at the top of this page, then use something like 7-Zip to extract the files. Then reupload the files to your host. Review Uploading WordPress to a remote host and make sure you are using ASCII transfer mode in your FTP client.

   If you have an .htaccess file, that too could be causing the problem--rename that if necessary.

   Ok, I just finished re-uploading all the files and everything seems to work fine.
