• I have attempted to install 2.8 on a Mosso account, and everything in the admin works swimmingly (the theme preview even shows the home page correctly?!?) but when I try to access the front-end, I get a “redirect loop” error (or “too many redirects” in safari). I have searched the forums and tried every htaccess variation I can find to no avail. Any ideas?
    Thanks! -Adam

  • me 2 when I try to preview a post, wasnt having this issue previously. any ideas folks?

    PLEASE – ANYONE?

Same problem here. The admin works fine via https and so do the static readme.html and license.txt files. I was hoping to find a workaround, plugin, or even a code hack but all my searching hasn’t turned up anything. I’m going through the WP source now to try to find the source of the problem…

Do you get the same problem if you switch to the default theme?

Yup. Seems to be a problem with advanced permalinks plugin, I emailed the author but no response.

I’m having the same problem at Mosso. Website is setup as Windows with MySQL, WordPress admin runs fine, but when you try to view WordPress outside of admin mode IE shows a connection error and Chrome says ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. I’ve noticed that if I add the parm &preview=true to the address bar the page will display. Did anyone solve this issue?

I’ve solved the issue by installing the disable-canonical-redirects.php plugin.
