After installation 2.9 language setting is ignored

    I successfully installed 2.9 but the admin pages are all displayed in English. My nl_NL.mo file (dutch) is not changed and in my config.php WPLANG is still defined as before.
    What could be the problem?

    The dutch translation is already coming soon here.
    In the mean while it seems that the 2.8.4.-translation seems to work, at least for most of it.
    I restored and wait a few days until 2.9-translations are ready…

    So do you mean that this has to do with the language file having to be updated? It looks to me like there’s just something wrong cause I worked with outdated lagnuagefiles before but never had this problem.
