    Upgrade from v2.5 to v2.6.5

    Step to upgrade:

    backup db and files to a place
    delete the files, upload new files via ftp.
    run ../wp-admin/upgrade.php
    redirected back to index page, where the page is totally blank. ***

    However, if i open up /wp-admin, I able to login to backend without any problem. Backend is fully function, but the front end, index page already fully blank... ***

    Anyone facing such problem?

    Same problem here. Downgraded to 2.6.3, but problem still persists.

    First notable error was, when editing a page, after clicking 'save' an error returned (backend):
    "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 137 bytes) in /home/dradv/public_html/wp/wp-includes/rewrite.php on line 863"

    What's up!? Any clues? Many thanks in advance.

    Solved it! The problem had to do with some plugins. More specific, Dean's FCKEditor for WordPress (I'm using version 2.5.0) that is needed for my multi-lingual-plugin WP_Multilingual (I'm using version 1.3.4.15).

    What I did was this:
    - de-activate both plugins;
    - uploaded the new WordPress-files via FTP;
    - re-activated the plugins.

    Now all is working fine!

    I guess the remarks about de-activating plugins for an install are there for a reason ;-)

    Hope this helps others.
