This is my first time using WordPress, I am using version 2.2.1 which is provided by my webhost and autoinstalls. However after I get my theme and everything set up i go in and make my first post, I click on Publish and then it takes me a to a blank page.
I try to refresh and still a blank page, I head over to the main page of WP and its blank, admin section, and everything is just showing up with blank pages.
I reinstalled it twice now and second time i just went straight to publishing without modifying anything, and it still gives me a blank page. Whats up?
Do you have a link?
Doesn't sound like WordPress is installing correctly...

Well I'm not sure what you used to install, but as it says, there's no wp-config file.
Did you try and ftp to see if it's there?
Or you could just download the wordpress zip and edit the file yourself and ftp or upload it.....
Either way, it doesn't look like WordPress is installing correctly with your autoinstall.....

Reason why it says that because i reinstalled it with a download from this site, installed the databases and everything, and still the error happend, could it be a mysql error?
I suppose it is an error resulting from your hosts webserver setup and the handling of the .htaccess file generated by WordPress.
Try to delete you .htaccess and/or restart with a new setup with permalinks disabled.

I reinstalled WordPress again, http://catalyst.elementfx.com/jna/ how should i go about removing the perma links?

nevermind, going to switch to another blogger that isn't as difficult.
