After I did the new installation, I was not able to update my pages anymore. Every time I try to upadate I get a 404 error.

What are some possible solutions for this?

    My website is ernstam.com

I am having a similar issue. My site was updated about an hour ago by my host, and now it has some random template on it and most of my info/content is gone. I tried to update the template but it will not stick.

So you've cleared any caching on your site and browser?

Deactivated all plugins, switched to the default theme?

    Reinstalled WP manually?

FWIW, I've seen that kind of issue be related to hosting - so you may want to check on that if the above does not work -
