    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thanks for your post regarding our blog Volunteer in France

    and have
    - deactivated all plugins
    - switched to the twenty eleven theme
    - re_uploaded via my ftp all files and folders with the exception of the wp-content folder and this is from a fresh dowload.
however Not quite sure what you mean reseting the plugins !!
Any further help or advice would be appreciated

I was able to access all of the blog administrative menus and have deactivate all the plugins. But still no picturers can be seen on the blog

Do I still have to carry out the procedure described in the

"How to deactivate all plugins when not able to access the administrative menus?"

    link you supplied?

First, try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    I changed to 766 nothing
I tried 767 and I got my layout template back but still no images
The same with 775 and 777
At this present time the folder rests with 0767

Should I be changing the folder or the folder and its' contents? when I right click the properties?
