AFG loading too slow to use

    Hi all,

    We’ve run into a problem that will cause us not to be able to use AFG. The page is simply loading much too slowly. Last time we measured one about 40 secs.

    If AFG is removed the page loads immediately. It seems to be related to the amount of images. Are there any techniques, cache, etc. that will speed this up?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I suggest to also check out this plugin: Responsive Flickr Gallery. Contributors welcome on github.

    When a gallery uses many photos the API call to flickr is expensive (might be slow). RFG is using a more aggressive cashing. Hope this help.

    The plugin you are suggesting above is 100% commercial as it displays your own ads in my own galleries and has nothing to do in this wp.org repository!
