   Good afternoon/evening/morning!

   Few days ago (21st of Feb actually) I was posting into my blog and everything was looking fine and yesterday morning I found that my blog does not show any tags / categories. All posts were moved to default category named Uncategorized, all tags just disappeared from all posts.

   I went into admin panel and from the Dashboard I see that I still have 7 categories and 100 tags. Clicked on "Category" button - and I see how many posts are in each category.

   In other words - it seems like everything is still there, but when I click any tag / category on a website - it tell's me that there is no posts on it.

   Used Google for about 2 hours - no luck. Maybe any of you experienced same issue? Really appreciate any advice! Thank you!

   I experienced the same issue. After Upgrading my WP to 3.1, all posts lost categories and Tags. This also had the side-effect of losing all post title links, so that all the friendly URLs were broken.

   hmm, this has been going on through quite a few reiterations of wordpress since 2.5. I have suddenly had it happen to me.

   People seem to find fixes or things come back but people don't bother to come back with the answer to the forums.
