   I've been advised that I should have a site logo. I'm no expert on WP and this is another little wrinkle I know nothing about. Personally I think my header text looks lovely "as is", but again, I don't know a lot, LOL. I know how to create a custom header, I've done that numerous times. But can someone suggest pointers on how to design a Logo, or would that be similar to the custom header? I'm not selling anything, this site of mine is "Just another" photo blog... Still, I wonder whether a Logo would help in the coveted Google ratings?

   Again, all the latest helpful advice is sincerely appreciated, I never realized how much work I ought to be doing to improve my little "home on the web"... It's all coming along, it just takes time...

   Google wouldn't even know you had a logo! Google is looking at your text.... so your site title works splendidly as text for google

   The only reason you would need a logo, is if you were trying to develop a brand.

   And if you are, a logo is something you should absolutely spend money on if you don't have the skills to design it yourself. It would be the thing that the public would associate with your brand.

   If you are happy with your header text as is, leave it be!

   Wonderful! Yep, I'm happy with it. The only change I'd ever make might be to add an image there, but for the moment it's all good.

   LOL, when I first saw the word "brand" in an earlier thread I thought of brand=logo such as branding cattle or something...if you know what I mean. Never thought about associating it with developing a brand of something to sell. Uhh....no...I'm not doing anything like that...yet!!

   That's how it starts! A blog and an idea. If you really start enjoying writing content, and write quality material.... people will pay for it!!

   I can write, and I've written fiction before on a different site. But now maybe I'd better start thinking about writing something non-fiction, hhmmm? ;)
