[advertising-manager] only partially working (5 posts)

    Using [advertising-manager] 3.3.15 on WP2.7.1

The short code works ONLY when on the old version, ie [ad#adsense468x60], not on the new version like [ad#1]

    Eample: http://allqoo.com/?p=6326

I supposed to have 3 ad units installed on post content

    - file upload (javascript) 468x60
    - adsense 468x15
    - adsense 468x60

The two adsense are installed between the lines "...perfectly legal" and "more details are...".

None of them is showing, so I ended up adding the file upload code directly on the post content and it works fine as is now.

The two sidebar widgets are working. So there is a problem on short-code.

Hope it will be resolved soon.

    jacco:

Thanks for the detailed description. If you want to include an ad in the text of a post, you need the syntax:

[ad#name] where 'name' is the NAME of the ad, not the ID of the ad. The reason for this is that if you want to rotate ads, you can have more than one ad with the same name.

Let me know if this works, or if you are still having issues.

    Cheers,
    Scott

Switching back to [ad#name] works like a charm.

In the older version, the pull down menu on page editor gives [ad#name]. But now it gives [ad#number]. So I thought you are wanting people to change. Switching the menu to [ad#name] will be less confusing.

On the other hand, it is wonderful to have rotating ads. Thanks for the plugin. I tried quite of few of those and yours is the best :]

    Thanks for the detailed information.

This is displaying somewhere I am not familiar with. Can you please either skype me (switzer) or respond with detailed information on where you see ad#id (I tried to figure out 'pull down menu from the page editor' but failed!)

It would be great to get this fixed because it is very confusing.

    Cheers,
    Scott

Forget it. I found it. I will be rolling a new version with this change today.
