   How does advertising work on wordpress? I am hosted with bluehost, can i install google adsence or adworks with wordpress?

   using the wordpress.org software does not control advertising; if your host allows advertising, then you are fine.

   I manually drop my adsense code where I want them.

   However, there are plenty of plugins that will do that for you as well. Just do a plugin search for adsense.
